Garden Safari of 15 gardens

Date and Time :
12th June 2016 - 12:00pm - 6:00pm
Garden Safari will include mature and new gardens as well as our Sole Street Station. The National Trust House, ‘Owletts’, will be open too.

Each garden will have its own personality with additional interests such as refreshments, hand-made terracotta ware and plant sales. There will be a silent auction of local framed photographs dating from 1950. A presentation will illustrate the history of Tin Tabernacles and how some have been brought up to date. There is a front-of-house competition of gardens, window boxes and hanging baskets. Cobham Brownies are holding a Teddy Bears’ Picnic at 12.30 in Sole Street House garden. Visiting children are welcome to bring along their own teddy to meet up with the Brownies’ teddy bears and help make each bear their very own crown.

Tickets are on sale at each garden at £5.00 that will entitle ticket holders access to 14 gardens or by telephoning Su Rowe - 01474 814560. ‘Owletts’ will be by National Trust card or extra payment of £3.70p
